Tomihiko Morimi is a Japanese novelist known for his debut work "Taiyo no To" in 2003. Many of his works are set in Kyoto, where he vividly creates imaginative fictional worlds that captivate readers. Some of his notable works include "Yoru wa Mijikashi Aruke yo Otome" (2006), "Yoiyama Mangekyo" (2009), and "Yako" (2016). He was born in Ikoma City, Nara Prefecture, and currently resides in Nara City. Morimi graduated from Nara Women's University affiliated junior high school and high school, and then went on to graduate from the Faculty of Letters at Nara Women's University. He also completed the Master's program in the Graduate School of Agriculture at Kyoto University. During his university years, he was a member of the rifle shooting club. Morimi's interest in writing fiction began in elementary school, leading him to pursue a career as a novelist during high school.
